hey guys just wondering how everyone is finding this unit so far compared to unit 3? I prefer this unit more with all the analysis of business performance and alike. 2 weeks today till we find out our unit 3 exam results, how exciting :)

I don't like it as much as Unit 3... maybe I will once we start analysis of business performance.

2 weeks? Exciting? I am half thinking about not even checking my result cause I know I'll be disheartened for the rest of the year

Hmm, there seems to be not that much new content in unit 4...
Or maybe i just haven't done enough yet.

Same here!! But then, my results won't surprise me at all.
The minute i walked out the the exam room on 11th June...
I knew i would never see accounting the same again...  </3 (its supposed to be a broken love heart LoLz)

I honestly think I got a B+. Considering Accounting is supposed to be my highest scoring subject, VCE isn't looking that great. If I got an A, I'd be pretty emotionless cause I wanted that A+ bad =(

I know i have lost 6 marks for sure...
and then i'd give another maybe 3-6 marks lost on theory questions depending on how picky they are...
So i'm guessing i may get an A...
And A+ if i'm EXTREMELY lucky, and B+ if i'm unlucky :(

How about you?

A+ is impossible but if really lucky i might scrape in for an A beacuse the level will drop considering the diffculty of the exam. But its more likely i'll get a B or B+ which i would be satisfied with because i didnt study nearly as hard as i should have. So only time can tell now

I know exactly how you feel.
I always thought accounting would be my highest scoring subject, but now my dream has just gone out the window :(
And yea, if i get an A...its not gonna mean much to me at all :(

To be honest, i don't think the exam was that hard.
I think it was just because we were under pressure...we may not have been thinking straight.
When i looked over the exam again next day, i found that the questions which i thought were difficult at the time....weren't actually that hard.
I studied quite hard for the midyear, maybe a bit too hard.
I think for the end of year exam, i'm just gonna try to chillax, and just do my best...and not stress over it too much.

Yeh I think, its important at the end of year to strike a balance between being complacent and being over-prepared.

that's what i'm thinking, i'm getting a statement of results too
i had a flip through unit 4 stuff, it doesn't seem too bad, more theory and remembering formulas. but apparently, this unit is harder :S

speaking from past experience.

I ended up getting a midyear mark that was two grades below what I expected.

This made me work harder, but always in the back of my head was that I need an A+ on the end of year to get a respectable score. It was added pressure I didn't need

If you don't mind me asking, how did you fair in the end?

I ended up only getting 34.

But I would say if you got my marks = B in midyear, A/A+ in sacs, A in end of year you would get somewhere between 34-36.

I've heard your midyear was much harder than ours last year.
