Last year you only needed 70% for an A+ on the exam.

84/120

Losing 36 marks and still getting an A+.

Lose 12ish marks = 50.

It's not that uncommon for uncompetitive subjects. For example, in 2006, my friend got a 50 in Information Systems (now known as IT: Software Development) yet he dropped 11 marks on his exam.

Maybe you're right just seems suprising considering most other subjects, where losing 5 marks = no chance of 50 at all.

yeh i think when u look up the grade distribution on the vcaa website, it says u could lose like 20 marks n still get an A+
http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/statistics/2007/section3/vce_physical_ed_ga07.pdf
actually says u could get 84/120 and get an A+, 76/120 for an A, 68.5/120 for B+
evidently the cohort found last years exam pretty difficult

Last years exam was exceptionally difficult, having done it already as part of my revision.
A friend of mine who got the Premiers award got 88% on it... So if you can get that when doing it as a practice, then you would probably know your stuff :)

Nice one! Which session. I went to one of his!
And yes it was good, but I can't find my notes from it anywhere!!!
I've looked EVERYWHERE. I remember they were really good.

Haha, OK, cos I think last years performance was significantly worse than previous years...
May I ask how you went in the subject?
And how you found last years exam?
