Hey accounting peeps. Is GST going to be examine on the budgeted report and profitability area? I was doing Neap and i saw no GST in their budget questions.
like if they give you budgeted 12000 sales figure - you just assume that its also comes with 1200 GST which needs to be recorded?

I was looking at VCAA last years and it says GST wont be examined in that particular question.

No.

Refer to the VCAA Bulletin 51 which suggests that the "November Examination From and including 2007, for questions involving the topic
"Budgets", students will not be required to consider GST. "
