Congratulations everyone on your results!
English: 45 -> 44.90
Incredibly proud of this one! English has always been my worst subject, but I worked so hard for it this year, so I’m glad it paid off.
Chemistry: 48 -> 49.13
Absolutely shocked. I’ve always been reasonably good at Chem, but I was expecting high 30s to low 40s. I’d never had any papers properly marked before (only by myself), so had no idea if I was even answering the worded questions correctly. I just can’t believe it 😂
Physics: 48 -> 48.87
I was hoping for a score like this in Physics. I actually found the exam this year decently challenging, so was a bit unsure to how high I’d actually score, as I wasn’t fully confident in a lot of my responses to the extended questions. Very pleased though.
Spesh: 45 -> 53.56
Wow. I loved Spesh, it was my favourite subject by far this year, but to get a 45 after that second exam, I am absolutely shocked. I did reasonably well on the first paper, but the second one was a whole different story. I was a complete mess, unable to answer large parts of the questions, and I even left a few marks blank, which I have never ever done before on a Maths exam. I was so disappointed in myself, since I thought I lost like 20+ marks, and was definitely expecting high 30s. I’m over the moon with the 45, and I’m interested to see the statement of marks for this one 😂
History Revs: 41 -> 41.14
Very pleased. I never expected to do this well in History, it was really just my ‘fun‘ subject. Again, I’d never had anything properly marked, so I wasn’t confident that I’d answered the questions properly. Thankfully it all seemed to work out though!
ATAR: 99.80
I am honestly still in shock with this ATAR! I was really hoping for 99+, but thought that I was more likely to score in the 98s after my exams. Methods (which I did in yr 11) wasn’t even in my top four, which was very surprising 😂. I’m very, very happy
