is 45 raw possible in further maths

Hi Guys,

I have done 3 sacs so far out of 4.

SAC 1: 100%
SAC 2: 87.5%
SAC 3: 80%
SAC 4: Not done yet

SACS 1,2,4 are worth 20% each of GA1 and SAC 2 is worth 40% of GA1.

Even if I get 100% on the last SAC, It won't be enough for me to get A+ grade for GA1(92%). The best I can possibly get is 91% which corresponds to an A according to the 2018 Grade Distribution for Further Maths.

My question is it possible for me to get 45+ raw for further maths if I do really well on the exam(only lose about 3 or 4 marks) in the whole 2 exams together and get at least 90%+ for the last SAC?

Also, doesn't my Study score depend on Exam performance anyways because my SAC marks(i.e GA1) will scale up or down depending on how well I do in it. Does that mean I could still end up with an A+ Grade distribution for GA1 anyways if I do well in the exam?

I am around the middle of a competitive cohort in terms of ranking and the SACS so far have been about medium in difficulty

All replies will be really appreciated

Thanks  :)

Super possible. Graded distributions use scaled SAC scores. You only have your raw numbers. Comparisons right now are very off base. Also - exams are worth a tonne. Ace them as best you can, 45 is still possible.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

I averaged 92% raw for internal sacs before scaling :). Depending on how your SACs scale you can absolutely even get higher.
