hey what studyscore would I be looking at in English, bio, chem, methods, spesh math and physics if I averaged

b) 70
c) 80

Lol that depends on how well you do in the exams. Since you go to melbourne high, sacs most likely get scaled up.
In terms of exams, it depends on exam difficulty.

It's too early in the year to speculate what atar you get. Anything is still possible.
If you don't work hard you won't get a good score. If you do work hard you will. Simple as that.

just wondering if i get A for GA1 and GA2 and GA3 for chem and if i get A for GA1 A+ for GA2 and A for GA3 for methods, what scores am i looking at? thanks

As for the school, I think it gets about one 40+ every two-three years.

I'd say 47-49 depending on the difficulty of the exam.
(If you get something like last year, then definitely towards the upper end)

Methods can get pretty competitive towards the very top end, the difference between my 48 and a 50 was 3 marks I think.

haha thanks. since u go to melbourne high and you are in the top 5 my prediction would be you will get around 42-45ish. i averaged around 88% for my sacs and they scaled to a+'s. on the end of year exam i didnt do my best but i managed an a.

Oh btw if it helps, I'm currently ranked 2nd in a fairly weak cohort ( person above me averaged 96% for unit 3 sacs), at a school that isn't that academically strong.

what sort of A+ do you expect to get on the exam. Its hard to tell without that information. Sorry

Japanese : is that first lang or second lang? makes a difference when calculating study scores
English: 41-43 I'd say. maybe higher? depends I guesson your exam mark
Chem: 35-38

NOTE: I always try to be realistic in my predictions, but that end of the day, I have no idea who you are. for all I know, you all might rip 50s in everything ^_^

I'm gonna say about 49-50. 97/100 is really strong. Jonoz0r (below) got a 49 with 96/100 on the exam last year.

Your SACs will most likely scale up heaps, but I'll do what you asked and assume no scaling. Predicting based off last years exams, you'd get a A (low), A+ (low), A+ (high) which will get you around 38-42 in my opinion. Your SACs are only 33% but make a big difference when you're looking in the 40+ range. PhishPhillet got a 45 with lower exam marks, but his SACs were 100/100.

[edit] this does bring to mind lzxnl - with near perfect exam scores, but with an A for SACs he got a 46, but with an A+ for SACs got a 50. Just something to think about.
