Is 10 lines really enough to get full marks for a 6 mark question? That's how much is given in the sample exam and all of the practice exams. Or would you recommend using the extra spaced provided in the back?

If you have time, always write more. Especially for the extended responses because they are far harder to do well on. Make sure that you include at least two or three forms of evidence in a six mark question (statistics, journals, quotes etc)

Would you classify as China's aid to Pacific Island states, such as Fiji of 160 million USD as soft power or more hard power?

It's soft power, but don't forget, there are two kinds of soft power, more aggressive FEMA
Ie economic duress and non aggressive forms ie diplomacy. Remember all these forms of power interact with one another, they are all unique and achieve different ends (that was the central premise of my essays and the Vce loved it)

Also I'm writing on my phone sorry for all the grammatical mistakes etx

What does the word "perspectives" refer to in a question such as "State two perspectives on an ethical issue"?

Is it the cosmopolitan, pluralism and realism thing?
Or is it the point of view of 2 global actors, such as a state and an IGG?
Or something else?  :-\

And for questions such as "Outline the response to an ethical issue from a relevant state actor", if your issue was human rights, is it okay to focus on armed humanitarian intervention and not mention any other debates surrounding the issue of human rights (universality, R2P etc)?
