08 methods exams!

Considering last yrs exam 1 was quite hard, many pplz got zero! So what's the likelyhood of the up coming exam 1 to be easier than last yr? WHat did you guys think of last yr's paper? My teacher said there weren't any easy questions but there wasn't any too difficult ones either, so therefore the kids who fuked around couldn't get any marks.

...meanwhile on the 07 assessment report, it was noted that:

Probability was an area of weakness and many students did not score well on these questions.

Might be likely probability questions are given more emphasis this yr...

...while further on in the report it states:

Students need also to be reminded that material from Units 1 and 2 of the study can be drawn on

I seriously think they might pop up some yr 11 stuff this yr, but I'm not sure what though, maybe something related to probabilty, any ideas?

Practice using fractions because last year had awful fractional work. They will probably put some more horrible probability questions this year. The venn diagram that was in exam 1 last year was from left field.

It might of been quite hard but i dont think thats the reason why many people managed to score 0 l0l.

i found last year's tech free to be pretty easy imho. but tech active was a KILLER ZZZZZZ!

yeah it is...

exam 2 was a bitch last year... i think most people panic on the trig question.
