I'm not a lefty but somehow I still end up with the whole side of my palm covered in ink after writing an exam/essay/anything with more than a paragraph  :-\

This ^^ makes my writing completely illegible since everything ends up smudged and there's little inky prints left everywhere hahaha !

#thestruggleisreal

Yeah, this is a problem with some of those cheaper pens that tend to bleed and smudge or if you're using gel ink pens. Maybe try out some of the Jetstream pens or a good Pilot Pen and go for the sharper points (0.7mm) so there won't be as much ink on the page

I found that inkjoy pens are atrocious for this.

Check out the site for the ridiculous variety of jet streams:
http://www.jetpens.com/Uni-Jetstream-Ballpoint-Pens/ct/354

I personally don't recommend 4 color pens. They're generally cheaply made and not particularly good pens; you're sacrificing writing quality for convenience. tbh i think rather than buying tonnes of cheaps pens, it's better to buy some more expensive ones.

Depends on which multi pen tho :) If you're looking at this: http://www.jetpens.com/Uni-Jetstream-3-Color-Ballpoint-Multi-Pen-0.38-mm-Transparent-Black-Body/pd/10601 then its amazing. I use this one as well

I really dislike these pens.. they make my terrible handwriting appear even worse lololol

~
I currently also use a Jetstream pen but it has three colours. I'm going to support your statement Psyxwar since the ink runs out very quickly!! -.-'''''

Is it this one? >
Cause then we have the same 3 colour pen haha

Although silly because the cohort doing well means you do better ..

But if you aren't a fan of a few people in your year, you can purchase a pen for $8 where the ink only lasts for 48 hours and it disappears as if you did nothing on the paper. The shock on their face when they get their subject study scores. :P

Been using the pilot g2 lately and I like it - especially as it comes in 0.5mm. As many have already mentioned, uniball jetstream and is pretty good.

I love how there's always some discussion on what pens to use every year haha

I use these when I'm doing trial exams (they're a little expensive for daily use for me lol)

I got a Parker pen for ~$60 (on clearance, marked down from~$300, I think), and it was the best purchase of my life <3

(until it ran out and the kids in my TAFE course broke it >.< )

This thread just got posted on the AN Facebook page.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like a massive nerd for actually caring about what pen they use for an exam? Haha

I love this pen. Not too expensive compared to some other brands, but still really smooth and doesn't smudge at all.
Pls do not send me a pm about Aspire applications. The process has vastly changed since I applied.
