I feel somewhat sorry for the Adelaide supporters as they were certainly the best team of the year on a whole.

I don’t think Dusty was a particularly worthy recipient of the Norm Smith. Some of his ‘don’t argue’s’ turned into holding the ball unfortunately and he wasn’t at the top of his game. Houli played very well but probably not well enough for a Norm Smith. I honestly thought Rance was gonna get it but Richmond were so dominant in the last half that he didn’t get enough of the ball. Still gotta admit a Brownlow + Norm Smith in the same year is bloody impressive.

So great to see Richo presenting the premiership, what a legend. Never saw this coming from 13th last year, so props to Dimma for upping his coaching game.

Absolutely bloody amazing day. So glad I got to go.
Also, I actually won $1000 today too as part of the competition I won, I got to go out on the MCG and kick for cash. Needless to say I did a shocking job and so ended up with the 1K consolation prize.

Take it to the draft. If we're going to rebuild, i'd rather we do it properly rather than bring in an established player.

Yeah, fair call. It's a shame North could lure neither Martin nor Kelly. I really think you need a couple of genuine gun midfielders but, otherwise, IMO your list isn't in too bad a shape. Your finishing position this year definitely doesn't reflect your talent, I reckon.

Given that at least in the first half of the season pre much most of our games were lost by under a goal. Very very bad luck. But I can't make excuses, shoulda coulda woulda.... things can only go up. Yeah, our midfield imo is the biggest problem and the lack of experience. Like you have to consider that second half of the season our forward line even was terrible. We had Waite, Wood etc out which left holes in our 22 lineup because players had to get shuffled around. The only decent target was Ben Brown

The #4 sounds really good too. Although.. it's one thing to sound good but to play under pressure of AFL that's a different story
