Thanks Z

At our school, we have 7 further math classes, 2 year 11 extension classes (all of us have done AGM in year 10 - im in this category), and then 5 year 12 classes, no extension.

I cant speak for the year 12 classes, but i know that they are below me. Im about rank 8-10, im on 58/60 after 2 sacs, did stupid things on geo+trig but aced CORE. the people above me/tie with me are all on 58,59s and theirs 2 60s all up. Its most likely myself, and the people above me are going to perform well on the exams (noting that some have already done 20-30 practice exams so far). How will this affect my study score?

Farr out, 4 marks lost and he got 46? That's like, lose a mark, lose a study score.

Yup! Further Maths becomes so competitive at that end. It's pretty much one study score lost per mark lost. I knew this beforehand and I was able to predict that with my rank 1, I would be looking at a 46 SS.

That's still such as good score.

Don't worry, you'll make it up this year when you get 50 in methods, and that scales to 52ish :D

Business Management

Scenario 1:
GA1: 97/100 (RANK 1)
GA2: 94/100 (lets say rank 2/3 - just to see effect)
Exam: off the top of my head its out of 130, so ill go with 121/130 ,

Scenario 2:
GA1: 97/100 (RANK 1)
GA2: 96/100 (lets say rank 1)
Exam: so ill go with 126/130 ,

your sacs and exam are both at a mid-high A, so i'd put you around 35-37. english sacs have a high median score though so i think you'd likely be closer to 35. that said, you're in a selective cohort so you'll probably score much higher than you think - your teachers probably mark pretty harshly.
sorry, same with me.

your exam score would usually get you about a 39-40 (with similar good scores on your sacs), but your sac marks will likely drag that up a bit. the a+ cutoff for english sacs is around 84/100, so assuming your marks were post moderation, you might end up with somewhere around a 42-43 i think.

About 45-46 if you get that exam score, and if your sacs scale too 99-100%, which they will if you were to get that high in the exam.

If your SACs scale up to near 100, you will get 48 or above.
