sacs: 80%
exam 1: 30/40
exam 2: 50/80

Would this get me a 35 raw in methods?

If I got those scores on the 2017 exam, would that get a 35 raw since 2017 was considered a difficult exam?

Ok so i did methods in 2016 and got 35 raw and considering the 2017 methods exam was arguably harder in my opinion, i wud probably say u wud get around 34-36. My sacs average 76%, tech free i got 28/40 and tech active was 56-58/80 which was graded B A A (barely A's). Quantum44 is very accurate on his prediction of ur ss and im just inputting my scores as to back it up. gotta look at ranking and cohort strength as well but the straightforward answer is most likely yes on that 35 raw (the tech active being B+ might push it to 34 but check the grade dist for methods year when it comes out)

Hi I know this is a strange combo, but:

Methods
Rank 10/60 in an average cohort
Exam 1: 39/40
Exam 2: 75/80

? :)

~46-48 raw

^Yea i think 46-48 is a bit of a stretch there as scores above 40 tend to be -1 ss per mark loss also taking consideration that he is rank 10... My prediction wud ultimately be 45 raw as i know someone who lost 1 mark in tech free and 4 marks in tech active and got 45 but could also be reliant on how hard the exam is. 47-48 wud definitely be around 2-3 marks lost overall.

Do you know which year they got 45 raw in and whether they got statement of marks or just an estimation?

would be 47-48 on a very hard exam (e.g. 2013)
on an "easy/moderate" exam would be a 45 (e.g. 2015)

Although this isn't taking into account any "sac penalty" if they don't scale to 100 or high 99's.

Is this for 39/40 and 75/80 regardless of sacs?

Thanks Sine
Had a few questions
scenario 1
sacs 80%
exam 1 30/40
exam 2 52/80
35 raw?

scenario 2
sacs 80%
exam 1 30/40
exam 2 60/80
37 raw?

Do you think my predictions are accurate?

yeah definitely a possibility but will always be dependent on what rank/what sacs scale to and difficulty of the exam.

Do you know what scaled sac scores are needed for a 35 raw and a 37 raw?

scaled scores of high 70's low 80's which is a B+ usually, that should be enough but better sacs would give you a small boost of maybe a couple study scores.
