Integration Reduction Formula Help

Hey, just curious about any tips and tricks you can give me when it comes to integration reduction formulas. A lot of the questions I am unable to do and I try to brute force it, which never works.
I don't know what I'm doing

There are two main strategies that you need to know how to employ:
1. Integration by parts
2. The potential need of doing algebraic manipulations (e.g. rationalising the denominator/numerator, add and subtract the same thing)

Other than that, it depends on a case by case basis.
