How alike are Chem 1/2 and 3/4

I've been getting cohort topping results in 1/2 at a good school (MHS).
Are the types of questions asked in 3/4 similar to 1/2. Because for 1/2 wherever I go to do questions I feel like they have the same generic template but I'm not sure if this is the same for Unit 3/4. Also, in terms of content, is the workload the same in 1/2 as it is in 3/4 or is it much heavier. For reference, my class has been able to finish the 1/2 course before the end of term 3.

the difference in workload between units 1/2 and 3/4 would depend on how much the school actually wants to go through in units 1/2 and how much depth they require. So this will differ between schools.

Given it is both Chemistry there obviously isn't any massive differences. I think in 3/4 having a proper in depth understanding of how and why things work(rather than just remembering things) is much more important.
