Area under curve

can we find the area under a curve with respect to y? cause sometimes its harder with respect to x cus u have to split it up..
I will be tutoring Specialist/Methods in 2009. PM me if interested!

i mean when integrating so , wiht the terminals the y values

thanks just never seen it anywhere in the methods course so thought i would restrict its use to spech only.

yes, but also changing the terminals to the y-values. this helps for areas under certain graphs where you have to split the areas into 2

Oh so instead of the integrals between ' whatver' we take it from the Y-axis so the y values? the max and the min values ?
