Hi,

I thought it would be useful to share our GAT results (raw and scaled) and how much you think it impacted your SS's.

Here are my raw and scaled scores:
Written Communication : 30 -> 42
Maths/Science : 27 -> 40
Humanities/Arts : 14 -> 28 (lmao :P)

I don’t think this had any impact on my 2 3/4 scores as I got higher in both of my maths subjects that I did in the GAT (42 in methods and 45 in further). Interesting to see others tho :)
2020 - mathematical methods [42] | further mathematics [45]
2021 - english language [45] | chemistry [36] | french [33] | physical education [44]
ATAR - 98.75
my vce journey !
2022 - bachelor of commerce and bachelor of politics, philosophy and economics @ the australian national university

Does anyone know how much the GAT accounts for things? I achieved less on my year 12 subject (Methods) than my GAT score.

I don't think it would've had much of an impact tbh.

Anyway it makes sense for someone to score higher in the GAT than methods given the methods cohort would be stronger than the cohort sitting the GAT.
