>40 won't count towards your ATAR?
So your going on the assumption your going to get >40 in all 6 subjects?
Since you are self-confident and love physics, keep it but consider dropping something else...maybe uni? Saves travel etc.

Yes, I do assume I'll get >40 for all my subjects. As do most of my family, teachers and friends. Perhaps the "lack of self-confidence" which you believe you have detected in the tone of my posts is a misinterpretation of my attempts to explain my dilemma without coming across as a braggart. Protip: don't assume ANYTHING from Internet posts that isn't explicitly stated. The subtle nuances of conversation are lost in forums.

EDIT: I don't have to travel for uni maths, there are classes at my school :)

me thinks that methods aim indicates a pretty high degree of confidence...

Seriously though, I'm in a pretty similar situation (though I couldn't be bothered with any extension courses...) where physics will likely be my seventh subject. I haven't learned the concepts properly; I get pretty average marks on the tests. I'm just hoping sometime in the next four months or so I find the motivation to start comprehending the actual ideas behind the physics course.

Given that you say that you enjoy physics, at least consider looking over it during the holidays (i.e. read through the study design, etc) and make a decision after that. You might well find that, with the added knowledge gained from spesh and UMEP maths, applying your knowledge gets easier.

That advice is far more considered and relevant than the entire second page. Thanks

I fail to understand how an aim for methods [ 45+ ] correlates to Physics confidence?...but oh well.
@OP...using words such as "indecisive, help" and then going on to doubt your ability by saying the exam was "too easy" all indicated a lack of self-confidence...obviously not.
...Now that you have cleared that up, you are indeed correct: the 2nd page is pretty much useless :P
As for advice, Romeperait's seems good!

My physics teacher, being too lazy to write his own exams, gave us the STAV 2010 trial unit 2 exam. If you can get a copy of it, you'll see why I think it's easy.

Fair enough. Seems to me like you know what you're doing anyways! Good luck :)

Anyone out there who's taken Physics as a 7th subject this year, how has the workload been, and do you think it was worth the extra time and effort?

I'm probably a tad late, but here's a tip, if you go to PLC and physics is your seventh subject and you're doing UMEP maths (where you'll get a five eyes shut and 5.5 most likely anyway) don't waste your time with physics.  unless you want a period of utter boredom, a period of every single prac the teacher shows you malfunctioning and the teacher constantly erring.
