Help! Calculator Problem!

I need some advice ASAP!
When I sketch graphs on my calculator and want to find, for example, the x intercept, the little cursor doesn't appear and all it says on the bottom of the screen is Left bound, right bound etc.. It used to actually show the x and y co-ordinates as I moved the cursor. I need this to be able to see when I am above the axis or below and to find intercepts. I have no idea how I switched this function off! Can someone please tell me how to switch it back on? It's a TI-84 Plus calc.
Sorry if this doesn't make much sense; it's hard to explain.
Thanks in advance!

I sketch the graph and then press 2nd TRACE and #2 (zero) to find the X int. The only thing that is missing is the little cursor that moves up and down the graph together with the co-ordinates on the bottom of the screen. It's a TI 84 plus.

One of your programs has probably turned that setting off.

To switch it on:
Press 2nd>Format (above Zoom - third button on the very top row)
On the second line, make sure CoordOn is highlighted, rather than CoordOff. This is where you can choose whether or not to display the coordinates at the bottom of the screen.

In this menu you can also change whether or not to display the expression at the top of the screen, or whether you want the axis on. Programs sometimes fiddle with these settings, so it's good to know how to change it back!

Thank you so much! It's fixed now.. I have no idea how I switched it off though

Somewhat related:
Sometimes I have to just randomly wait for the cursor to appear. I'd hold left or right arrow for a 5 seconds at times until it appears. Other times it'll just be in sight when I need it.

Does anyone know how to snap the cursor the screen instead of it being out of the screen (out of the domain/range)?

Tried hitting re-graph?

Otherwise I guess you could just keep tapping 2nd+left or right arrow, it's faster than just holding the arrow down anyway.
