eating at subway

When I go to subway I usually order as many toppings as I can (except for jalapenos they ruin the sandwich), however other people always order only a few toppings!? I don't get it :/

Like this one time there was this guy next to me who only ordered tomatoes and pickles. Wtf ?_?
What is it that people have against free toppings?

Is there some kind of subway etiquette I don't know about? Is it rude to order all the toppings?

I am so confused help

People order what they want on a sandwich. Getting more salads doesn't always equate to a tastier sandwich.

I'm not a fan of carrots, pickles, olives or cucumber on my sandwich so I usually just get lettuce, tomato, onion and capsicum.
Sometimes I give cucumber another chance and it always ends up ruining my lunch for me.

^ Yep. If there's too much in a sandwich, eating becomes messy and annoying and you end up wishing you'd bought something else.

I'm a super picky eater and dislike most vegetables, so I'll usually just go with lettuce, capsicum and onion.

I completely agree with you! Load it up with everything.

Also, what the hell is with not tessellating the cheese?!

They're meant to be doing this now
in fact:
I WAS AT SUBWAY ON SATURDAY AND THE LADY TOTALLY TESSELLATED MY CHEESE.

This happened to me one time. I went to subway then back to uni and when I got to uni my toppings had slid down to one end of the sandwich. Major bummer.

You answered it yourself, jalapeno's ruin the sandwich for you, the salads people don't choose ruin the sandwich for them

The sandwich will taste like plants if you have all the toppings.

Lol I didn't know people had aversions to the other salads too. I would have thought an aversion to jalapenos (chillies) would be more natural.
But yeah I don't really care if the sandwich kinda falls apart, it's worth the mixture of flavours (but moreso value! lol). Or maybe living at a non-catered residence has made me love free food even more.

Damn I love subway

I always get this, never anything else. Toasted chicken and bacon ranch on the italian herbs and cheese. Tasty cheese and tomato, onions, lettuce and capsicum. Ranch sauce.

Epic sammich.

I think they're actually not allowed to tesselate the cheese for some reason which I can't remember right now.

One time I had Subway and I got sick (as well as the person with me) so I stopped eating it, but I'm starting to slowly get back into it.
