Why do asians have grey hair?

Why do some asians have grey hair? Are there any scientific explanations for this?

I have black hair.
My cousin who is also asian has brown hair.
Some asians have grey hair.

I've actually been finding an increasing number of white/brown hairs. But by an increasing number, I mean one or two every few weeks.

I'm Asian and I've found a few red hairs before, glistening amidst my black hair...so strange.

Might just be the fact that it's easier to point out and notice grey hairs amongst our black (well, generally very dark brown) hair. Otherwise, it'd be a genetic disposition.

In one of my engineering groups last year there was this guy in our group and he was a very good programmer, but he was very stressed all the time and his hair was about 40% grey.

It could be genetic, but it could also be environmental.

oh ye, I heard somewhere that a male jap news reporter gradually developed grey hair within 3 years of his career due to stress..

Also, we had this neighbour in China who is soo lazy that she never cooks or does much housework and she has a really good husband who cares for her like a dad cares for a daughter... and ... this year i went back and met her her son's already 18 but she doesn't have a single white hair or wrinkle on her face..

So i guess there's a correlation between one's haircolor and his lifestyle
