Selection of Australian and New Zealand citizens and Australian permanent resident Year 12 school leavers for entry into the BDSc is based on a combination of the applicants ENTER, performance in the UMAT and performance in prerequisite subjects.
The University calculates a weighted UMAT score by giving a double weighting to Book 1 and single weightings to Books 2 and 3.
The 2007 range of scores for Round 1 offers into the BDSc are as follows:
ENTER/UMAT stream:
Enter range: 99.95 – 96.55
Weighted UMAT range: 341 – 190
