To get 100 means to beat 100% of the state (including yourself).  :)

Oh geeze it finally makes sense :D, thanks.

I'm good at misunderstanding stuff

so each year nsw ppl beat themselves by getting a 100 for their UAI??? good stuff.

no. UAI is an INDEX, university admissions INDEX. Its base is 100 so the highest a student can get is 100 UAI.

nah it aint possible. even if you were the top scorer in the state, you'd never be 100, you'd be 99.9999999999something. otherwise, it'd be like saying you were in the top 0% of the state, which doesn't make sense.
are you assuming that it's 99.999999999 recurring?
that would equal 100.

it's simple.

let x = 99.99....
let 10x = 999.99...
10x-x = 999.99... - 99.99
9x = 900
x = 100
therefore 99.99... = 100.

The ENTER assumes you are not better than yourself. You can only get an ENTER of 100 if you are an infinitesimal. That is, you are infinitely small in representation of the population (i.e.: an infinite population).

According to this http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/why-9995-and-not-100/2007/12/17/1197740182432.html report, if one person extremely outperforms everyone else and everyone else does badly, does that person get 100 for their ENTER?

yeah i got it this yr. total fluke.

What SS did you get for each subject? 50 for all of them??
