Can anyone link me to a practice GAMSAT exam? Or do I have to purchase them of those money hungry companies?
I just wanted to see the structure of the GAMSAT and if it's similar to the UMAT

read through already available info

http://gamsat.acer.edu.au/about-gamsat/structure-and-content/

http://www.ellipsoid.org/wp-content/uploads/downloads/2011/05/gmac-admissions-guide-2012.pdf

ACER provides sample questions and tests to simulate the real style and format of gamsat

Please dont fall prey to thinking you need the $1400 'titanium package ' http://comptext.com.au/discounted-attendance-packages/melbourne-titanium-package/ to do well in the gamsat

If you want to see the layout I can shoot you a photo of some of the question styles, but in general practice material isn't really available for free.

Thanks for the links! I guess I completely misjudged the GAMSAT, initially I thought it was just really difficult physics/chem/bio questions, but now I see it's much like the UMAT in the sense that it tests your on the spot thinking skills, similar to the GAT perhaps? I can't believe there is essay writing! Awesome. But I'm still pretty clueless on the question types. Any help would be appreciated Russ!

Moved it to the GAMSAT forum.

What examples do you want to see, science or humanities? I'll post a couple later tonight when I find my stuff

Less libel please. Des are actually a pretty decent organisation compared to some of the others.

I have nothing against their materials, I bought some myself actually, 2nd hand of course and for a small fraction on the retail price. I wouldn't recommend using des books alone especially for the sciences but in conjunction with textbooks as much knowledge is already assumed, its more of a summary really. But honestly I doubt anyone would pay $1400, unless they're quite affluent.
