Thought I'd share my 2 cents on wedges too.

First of all, I don't put them on my feet...I don't see the point in seeing nice wedges go to waste. Although I do imagine they'd be pretty comfortable under my feet and inbetween my toes.

Sometimes I just look at them, sometimes I just smell them.

I don't prefer any particular brand as most wedges are more or less the same.

Tell me what you think of my wedges!

But seriously, comfortable shoes? Uwabaki.

^I don't agree about the heels, but wedges you're almost correct. Btw, i don't really see heels to be a big deal for uni, depending on the height. If you're wearing 5 inch heels then obviously thats too much imo, but if its smaller, its okay. I mean, if I see someone wearing heels like the pics that have been shown so far, I wouldn't think "a bit over the top for school'' kinda thing

Wedges are just a gazillion times comfier and easier to wear than stilettos - that's why we wear them! But I agree, a good looking pair of wedges is hard to come by. Espadrilles are even worse; I don't think I've ever seen a pair that look good.

Men. They just don't understand how wonderful shoes really are. About uni, I do feel that wearing extremely high heels would seem a little... pretentious (especially stilettos). It'd probably get uncomfortable walking around the campus all day too; I think I'd really only consider wearing thick low-mid heels. I'll need to get myself some chucks and nice leather flats for uni some time soon..

i always look at what shoes girls are wearing because then you can tell whether they can run fast enough after you when you take their handbags/purses

Yeah I'm not going to walk around in stilettos in uni. God I'd die. I hate the sound they make on concrete.

BTW Does anyone else find it hard to drive in heels? I do, I have to take them off.

While I wouldn't say that all shoes go with everything, they do help to refine the overall appearance of an outfit. I also personally think that part of the appeal is due to the fact that most shoes don't require a certain body shape for them to look good. And yeah, heels are great because they lift the butt and lengthen the legs
