But I've never been a fan of energy drinks (they taste weird loool) and I read somewhere that too much can cause like heart palpitations? Scary!

affeine, water and flavour. Tea is a bit more complex but it's also pretty much caffeine, water and flavour.

There's about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee or a No-Doz or maybe 2-3 cups of tea. If you're not used to that much you might get problems otherwise ehh
