Business Information Systems Degrees

Hi guys,

So I was really interested in doing a Business Information Systems degree at Monash next year. When researching these degrees, I came across a Bachelor of Business Information Systems and Commerce double degree that also seemed interesting. My questions is, what advantages would doing a Commerce degree as well as a BIS one have, if any? And would it really be worth it? Thanks!

Do you want a Commerce qual as well? If so go for it.

Well, it seems worthwhile. Since I want to do Business Information Systems, I’m assuming doing Commerce as well will be a bonus for prospective employment? I was kinda tossing up between doing BBIS/BComm or just BBIS with more technical IT electives instead, but I think I’m more or less set on the double degree.
