Yeah you have been using data apparently. Phone companies are scumbags, they usually make you pay $2 for 1MB, good tricks. Here's what has happened:

MyCredit is premium credit, it can be used to for anything as far as I know.
OptusMoney is credit that can be used for Optus numbers within Australia.

You have been using data on your phone. 15MB = $30 credit used and really, 15MB can be used within a few minutes. If you think you haven't been using it, what may have happened is that you clicked on your browser and some pages have been loading or something has been downloaded.

Sorry for your loss, but you can buy data packets from Optus where you pay $5 and get 500MB of data to use within 30 days, which is a lot.

Damnit!
so, what should I do?
should I get a new phone?
if I put more credit will it just suck up all this credit really quickly like before.
what's the solution?

I think it might have been because I tried to upgrade to the latest version of "WhatsApp" because later version has expired but my mobile couldn't upgrade for some reason and I kept trying to download it. Maybe that's why?

In your opinion, is prepaid not a good option to have?
Should I purchase a new mobile?

edit: That was what was using your data, downloading WhatsApp. You can buy more credit now, it should be fine, just dont download or use the internet. No, you won't need a new phone :p

Yes prepaid is a good option. You're able to top up whenever you want and you're not locked into a cap. If you sign up for postpaid, chances are you'll exceed your limits, not just you, but many people do and thats how these phone providers make a lot of their profit, since they charge users at premium rates once they've used up their credit. Lets not get into that, but I think you should definitely stick to prepaid as you're in control.

However, if you're comfortable, switch to the Crew Cap where you get $200 credit and 100MB which costs $30 for 60 days or switch to Woolworths Mobile where you get $500 credit and 5GB (5000MB) of data which costs $26.10 for 45 days (with an everyday card). I was hesitant switching to Woolworths Mobile though, didn't want to pay $17/mo >.<.

The charge pattern, at least for 03/10/13, appears at very regular 20min intervals, throughout the hours of the night when you would be sleeping. This means it was the phone automatically fetching data (possibly from the app store, or possibly a third party app). You should prevent this by turning off mobile data.

If you are using android:

Settings --> Data usage --> turn off "Mobile Data".

This prevents any data connection when not connected to WiFi, and thus avoids the data charges such as the ones that you had to pay.

Though, in this present day and age, you might as well buy a data pack, or, seeing as you'll have a phone forever from now on, you might as well sign up to a plan.
