Haha yea, gold prices have crashed through the roof. It's about 30 cents a mil. Only effective way to do it is to PVM or stake now really. I make more doing 4 hours in game work, then that same time at my part time job at KFC lol.

It's against the rules to sell Runescape gold on eBay. I used to be able to get $5/mil off noobs, now you'd be looking at $0.30/mil even if you tried to sell it (which it would get taken down).

I'm upset about it too, was such a great way to make $.

Yeah, I sold my last batch of gold for $0.22/M btw. $0.3/mil is at best.

LOL! They have actually cracked down on botting quite a lot since I "temporarily" quit. I know that they are constantly alert on these things happening.

Yeah, they've really cracked down on bots. Mod MMG is really serious about it now. It was obvious that they thrived on botters prior to 2013, they purchased so much membership. Then as soon as botting started declining, they panicked, introduced in-game RWT'ing (SoF etc.) to make up for that money lost.

Now, their only hope is to establish a bot-free community. I don't see RS lasting for very long anyway. EoC is terrible anyway, regardless whether its 'technically better' than the old basic Java version.

That is true, there is now BONDS so you can buy a range of ingame services, in an attempt to combat gold farmers. However I must say, I do prefer the old combat system. For me, Runescape was at its best the period just before the initial armour rework. After that, it didn't feel the same, nor look.

Needless to say, I still enjoy the game :)

Yeah, it's still a good game. I miss my Clan - Was one of the biggest on the game. But then I closed it when I stopped playing. =/
