Hai Everyone,

So I'm going into Year 11 into Nossal High School and my 3/4 subject is Business Management and I really hope I can smash the subject.  I I got an A+ in 5 of my 6 SAC's last year but I screwed up really bad in both the exams ( 80% and 78%).    :(

I know that if I put in the effort, I can get a good study score, but all I need to know is where and how I put in the effort i.e. Do i pace myself by taking notes or Do I do practice SAC's and exams etc ?? Any suggestions or ideas would be great.

Thanks :)

Poor Nossal person getting no replies :(

If you want school-specific advice just PM me and I'll send you the contact details of a few teachers that are really helpful with Business Management (my best friend just finished 3/4 last year)
Can't really give you personal experience or advice since I'm only in 1/2 myself. But good luck!

If you found that your learning technique worked then stick to it. There's no point to changing your technique!

With bus man I found it really helpful to make concept maps for every topic. Really good for sac and exam revision. I used shinnys notes and A+ notes for sac revision.

Personally, before every sac I would grab questions from past VCAA exam papers and look through to find questions on the topic being studied. After I attempted it, I would read the examiners report in detail. I found it very helpful since the examiners showed the way to structure every question and the detail needed in the answer. Sometimes you'll be able to grab some handy ideas on ways to structure your answers!
