Semester One Timetable Thread

Since graduate/honours class registration is already done and undergrads get their timetables on the 3rd, I thought I'd make this thread in preparation for the wave of distraught second/third-years with unavoidable clashes. Have fun!

clashes? In timing?

To be honest my problem lies in destination :(

UPDATE: I was told by the subject advisers that since the uni MUST accommodate for us, they're going to release more times and classes. I hope this is true.

I had to drop my mgmt consulting class because auditing had a lecture at the same time. (Srsly, screw accounting. :(  )

All that time spent writing a kick-ass application gone to waste.....

does the auditing lecture not get recorded? o.O i wouldn't drop a subject because of one lecture clash. @ A @

90+ftw they TRY to help you avoid clashes, but theyre not going to move a lecture or make another stream just because one person has a clash. especially if its because you have a subject with a small cohort.
i know last year in science, accelerated math/accelerated physics clashed with each other, and environmental science clashed with absolutely everything;;

^ I spoke to a woman named Alana, she said that they usually release more classes in case people HAVE had clashes. For example, I just discovered that lecture 1 and 2 for my arts foundation subject (REASON) clashes with Latin. Latin has very few classes so I was told that they would release more in order to avoid the situation (not just for me, but for others as well). It's so frustrating, I just have two more lectures to fit in :(

they often do release more tutes especially if there're more enrollments than anticipated, but lectures don't really budge.

^ I'm waiting for an email from the uni, but...what do YOU suggest I do?

UPDATE: I've reviewed a couple of things, looks like I've only go one lecture to squeeze in now (nearly no clashes) and I got Fridays off!

I am not dropping a single subject of mine, no matter what :)
(*ahem* unless I REALLY fucking hate)

hopefully you'll be able to get rid of the clash, but if you can't clashes really aren't that big a deal if you can watch the lecture online. @@

Fridays off for me but annoyed about my three early starts of either 8 or 9am during the week and how my lectures are really spaced out
