I wouldn't be confident with a GPA below 7 unless I had a GAMSAT above 70.
I thought 6.8 GPA and 68+ Melbourne weighted would give you a good shot at the CSP. There are some people on PD who have like 70-80+ GAMSAT scores, even though there is <5% percentile difference so that might have pulled up the average GAMSAT for an interview. The median GAMSAT for an interview might be lower, seeing as how more people will have GAMSAT scores at around mid to high 60s. This is all...random speculation though.
Thanks for your reply Shenz0r.
I wasn't sure how to study for S1 (I hate poetry and reading passages). I just did a few Des MCQs and tests, but scored ranging from 48%-75%. My brain just switches off when it comes to those passages/poems.
How did you go for it? How did you study for it?
EDIT: I will sit both if I have to but it just costs so bloody much
I got 62 for S1, which I was expecting before the test. I went through Des and used to get pretty crappy scores for its tests (43-50/75) or something, although there was one where I got 56/75. I also did some of Examcrackers, did something like eight tests but didn't finish the book.
I also did the ACER tests as well, and for some reason did much better on those than the Des' test.
I did have a vocab list which I added to on my phone, and occasionally I'd revise using flashcards. I also did look cartoons (espesh from New Yorker) and randomly wrote what I thought about the cartoons. Did the same for poems but it didn't help much, I got more out of poems by spamming questions from ACER and Des.
