How is Australian English perceived by Linguists today and is this difference to how it is perceived by the general Australian Public

How do Australian people feel about their languages, use evidence from linguistic debate to support your points

I will try to do both lol.
I still need to revise up on some terms. :L (esp. U301 informal language cos I've forgotten most of it haha)

I don't think there's any point in me practising writing essays at this stage as I am not 100% confident with anything/everything :P

That doesn't matter! Write them open book and not time-bound. By writing essays, you will find that you revise the content, too!

Marking some short answer questions, and I wanted to ask some opinion:
- I described the use of conjunction in a narrative, e.g. "So we went to the shops, and we got some onions. And then we visited Grandma's cat". as a 'paratactic style' developed by using 'compound sentences' and 'conjunction and'. The answer describes it as 'listing'. Would I still be correct?

Yes, I think that your answer would be accepted.  It's tricky, reading over the provided answers - they're not always comprehensive.  An examiner will look for ways to award marks; often there is more than one right answer.
