Hello, I'm still in Year 11 and I'm doing methods 1&2 and I feel as though I am not doing enough, I've been very lazy.
Can anyone help me with tips and tricks to get high marks for methods and things I should do for it? How long I should study for?
I really want to get a 40+ For methods 3&4 next year and honestly so many people on this site even got 50 wow!
Please help thankyou so much

It may not be quite what you want to hear but just stop being lazy?
There is no 'trick' to 'perfect' a subject, particularly maths, other than just practise.

Doc's right, sometimes you've just got to do it.

There's no tricks, but I suppose in the way of tips:
  • If there's one thing you do, keep a good summary book. It's a life saver and there's absolutely no reason not to have one. (I named mine Jesse ;) )
  • Learn your calculator. Love your calculator. Live your calculator. (but by no means rely on it; that'd be silly since... you know, non-calculator tests and stuff)
  • Do a bit every day. Seriosuly. Why wouldn't you? Maths is clearly everyone's favourite subject anyway.

Also check out the Methods Resources thread, and maybe the Further Maths one. There's some cool stuff there. I think it's recommended to do around 3-4 hours of study per week per subject, but less than that is totally fine if you know what you're doing and your summary book is up to date. I mean if you're really desperate for someone to get you off your butt, I'll come to you are and make you study for $5 plus travel expenses. <3
