Euler did you write the stats bit in Methods notes?

He certainly did all the updating of the spesh notes, I haven't learned stats yet :)

... wut. This ain't true at all, soz bruh LOL. Vectors are being taught this year exactly as they have been in previous years, nothing more in depth, nothing less in depth. The study design changes are literally the case of things being added or removed from the study design.

And don't worry - you won't be getting sold any set of notes if they aren't 100% relevant to the study design!! In particular for the maths subjects, since they have study design changes relevant to this year, you'll be getting lecture notes that have been modified to suit the changes in content.

Awesome, thanks! :D

Nah, methods was written by Zealous. I did help with proofreading/correcting, though, and he does a fantastic job of explaining and teaching it all in the notes!

wait can I just ask; for subjects like bio/chem, are the notes going to change, since the study design hasn't?
also just to clarify, there'll be a "new" set of notes for the maths and stuff that are changing? so if I purchase new spesh notes it'll have stats and all the different content in the new publications according to the new study design? was considering buying it tomorrow if that's the case! :) thanks guys!

I can't really comment on bio/chem, because I wasn't involved in the writing process of those - if they are the same, though, they're still relevant to the study design completely, so that's not quite an issue. :P

However, I can definitely promise that specialist and methods have the new study design stuff in them - particularly spec, given how long I spent putting all that stuff in. :P Goes beyond just the new stats stuff, too - we've made sure to update all the other sections that have changes, including calculus, DEs, etc.

thank youu, I'm not fussed about these because I know whatever is in them from the past still is (I have older copies of them) but I just wanted to know if new stuff was added and it'd be good to purchase another, but thank you :)

that is fantastic thank you so much, that's really helped me out :)
I really wanted to self teach some stuff before school began and had no clue where I could learn a lot of the content I wanted, so that is perfect! thanks Euler :)

Interesting that you have this information when I don't...

Maths and English cover the whole year. The other subjects might only be for unit 3, I'm not entirely sure. They might be both units, though, I honestly can't say. It'll be very obvious when you go to buy the notes tomorrow, though!

AN has unit 4 lectures so i assumed just 3. Love to see how 15 chapters will be covered in 4 hours in details if its all year stuff :)

The lectures themselves will (probably) only cover what you'll see in the coming semester - the lecture notes that you can purchase for $20 are different.

Guize, plz, stop asking questions. I need to be there tomorrow morning before you. :P

If lecture notes contain practice questions depends entirely on the lecturer in question, but pretty sure if they are there, they're only there as worked examples. The lecture notes are literally just notes, sorry - they're not intended to replace textbooks.

Any more questions, ask whoever's manning the stall tomorrow! They'll be glad to assist!
