Hello 3/4 Methods students of 2016!

My name is John Taing, and I’m tutoring Year 12 Methods this year.

I graduated from Melbourne High School this year with an ATAR of 99.30 with raw study scores of 48 in Mathematical Methods (50 scaled) and 44 in Specialist Mathematics (53 scaled).
However, I believe that simply telling you the scores that I achieved this year is redundant, as there I believe that there is little correlation between one’s achievements and one’s ability to efficiently impart one’s knowledge onto others. Having tutored Mathematics to younger students in the past, I believe my prior experiences have fine-tuned my teaching ability.
What I offer is a fully structured, organized and dedicated tutoring service that is catered toward students of any skill level. I have scoured the ridiculous amounts of resources that I have and have selected only the most relevant questions that will not only stimulate your interest and further your learning, but also provide the most bang-for-your-buck, as it is very likely that similar questions will appear on your SACs or on the VCAA exam.
Aside from my weekly lessons, I am contactable outside our lessons, and will promptly respond to any problems or anything that you are not sure about.
I prefer to tutor in groups, as I believe that it creates a better, and more motivated learning environment. My prices are as follows:
---$20/hour for groups of 2 or 3
---$35/hour for personal, one-on-one tuition
If you do not have a group, I am able to put you in one with people who have similar goals/ability as you.
