*Winners Announced* The July 2017 MotM Awards

Straight into it this time - what's got into me? :D

PREVIOUS WINNERS:
February, 2017 (inaugural winners):
New South Wales: kiwiberry
Victoria: Shadowxo
March, 2017:
New South Wales: rodero
Victoria: Syndicate
April, 2017:
New South Wales: sssona09
Victoria: cookiedream
May, 2017:
New South Wales: MisterNeo
Victoria: Quantum44
June, 2017:
New South Wales: Wales
Victoria: zhen

I love listing the previous winners of the MotM Award, because just look at those names. Some seriously respected members, there - and great company for the next winners.

This month, truly, has been one of my most enjoyable in ~5.5 years of forum activity. There have been heaps of relatively new users asking questions, answering questions, and just getting involved in the community in general. And that's actually the best thing to see.

For the above reasons, this month was also one of the hardest to judge for the moderating team - and much discussion flowed for practically the entire month. We've settled on one winner from each state, though:

From Victoria, the winner is VanillaRice. After joining late last year, VanillaRice made their very first post this month - and also 34 subsequent posts. Each and every one was high quality. VanillaRice's posting efforts this month garnered a very respectable +8 respect. They posted across a number of boards, but most prominently Health Sciences, Methods and Chemistry. Thank you, VR, for your outstanding posting efforts this month.

And from New South Wales, the winner is dancing phalanges. dancing phalanges joined ATAR Notes on 13 July. To win this month's award from half a month of activity clearly shows how highly we've rated their contributions. DP has posted (at time of writing - probably more to come tonight haha) 122 times this month, mostly in Modern History. Truly an amazing month - keep it up, dancing phalanges!

(NSW this month was particularly difficult, and huge shout-outs must go to fantasticbeasts3, mixel, katie, rinos and bigsweetpotato2000. Phenomenal months from all of you.)

So, please join me in congratulating our winners for July 2017: VanillaRice and dancing phalanges!

They have now been added to the honour board, which is turning into a list of forum super-users. Amazing.

congratulations to both of you - sososososo deserving of this recognition :)

As are many others - though I can only really speak for the NSW side, the recent boom in activity - and in other students helping each other out - has been so beautiful. The forums as of late have not felt so much as "question and answer" threads, but group study sessions, where everyone is contributing and offering their advice, which is exactly how it should be <3 So massive congratulations to VanillaRice and Dancing phalanges, but also everyone else here who have really helped to make this THE BEST community as of late - particularly during Trials, when a strong support network is more important than ever  ;D

Adding emphasis to Joseph41 above. It has been an incredible month for ATAR Notes NSW - it's been all kinds of crazy with lectures and then trials. Students helping students is what we're all about, and this month everyone mentioned above (plus a few others) have been exceptional in taking up the ATAR Notes spirit and seem to be gaining as much from it as they are giving, which is incredible.
