Year 10 Work Experience for Physics

Hello,

Does anyone know any institutions or companies which do physics research and take on year 10 students for work experience? I've applied to the majority of the unis, CSIRO, MCN and I don't know however many other places, but all of them either don't reply, don't do work experience or have set programs which don't align with my school's dates. I need to know as soon as possible as my school is asking for placement submissions to them asap.

Any reply is helpful,

Thank you in advance.

- I know this was posted ages ago but I'll put down where I went if anyone else is interested!  :)

I did my first placement at Swinburne Uni. May I just add, the placement was amazing. Staff  are really nice, and let you ask them anything. A good tip is when your supervisor tells you to ask questions- do ask questions - Physicist and Astronomers love talking (and flexing their maths skills) about their work.

I then went to the UoM one which was pretty good as well. Its also a great experience as you will get to meet so many like minded students which is really great, as I didn't really know anyone who did like Physics before I did my placement!

In terms of research, you'll do your own project at UoM, whereas Swinburne has something different for everyone, which is really cool because its basically a surprise.

UoM: The University of Melbourne placement is now closed- but students in Year 10 in 2019, keep an eye out if you're interested! ;D ;)

i did a physics placement at Melb uni this year. its select entry though(just a questionnaire)  they offer this yearly so the next opportunity will be next year(open to yrs10-12). I found it really fun and interesting. Highly recommended. if you go for it, talk yourself up though because so many people apply.
