BMS1031 - Medical biophysics
CHM1051 - Chemistry 1 advanced
BMS1042 - Public health and preventative medicine
BMS1052 - Human neurobiology
BMS1062 - Molecular biology
CHM1052 - Chemistry 2 advanced
I'm honestly excited to begin uni and start this new part of my life and do the things I've always wanted to do.
One thing that really appeals to me is being in an environment with other likeminded people who are interested in what they're learning and are supportive and friendly to one another. So I hope I can be friendly and helpful to anyone in or out of uni too in the new year.
I think I'll use this journal as something to look back on and look at my life from a more outward perspective instead of being so bogged down in it. This is my first proper post on these forums (despite having an account for some years) so I'm a bit cautious but I presume with more posts and more journal entries it will become a habit and more normal.
So far I've already begun teaching myself some physics and a sprinkle of some biochemistry. Mostly out of self-interest, to test waters and prepare myself but also because I have nothing else to do. If anyone knows good resources for self-study I would be grateful for anything.
I'm really interested in self-improvement, so I hope that with each coming year I will be able to work harder and improve my resourcefulness.
Not sure what I want to do post-uni but something science/health related whether a researcher, doctor, lab tech, physio, nurse, academic... who knows. The reason I want to do it is hard to explain but in short it has to do with wanting to give back.
Excuse long rambling style.
And if anyone else is doing biomed hit me up, I'd like to know your thoughts or experiences.
