Bridging into courses

Hi forum,

So here’s my issue, I am missing the chemistry prerequisite for pharmacy at UQ and I was told that I can do a different course for one semester to gather up the necessary chemistry units and then just transfer for mid year entry. Could someone please elaborate on that because I still don’t fully understand if it’s the best pathway, also, what course would be the best for transferring into pharmacy in semester 2?

Hey,

So this could mean going into science, in your first semester of science studying chemistry (+ other units),  then transferring (I.e. swapping course) into pharmacy. You would ideally want to make sure you pick units which you can be credited for in pharmacy so that when you enter pharmacy you aren't a semester behind.

For what course is best I recommend looking at the handbook for courses you think might be relevant and seeing what subjects/units are offered
