UMEP + Eligibility for national team?

I was just wondering how participating in UMEP influences your eligibility for national maths and science teams. I know that you can't study MUEP Chemistry if you're attending the Chemistry Olympiad Summer School, but are there similar restrictions for the other sciences? I'm going to the summer school for physics, and I thought it would be fine (I know of people who've attended the summer school this year and gone on to study UMEP, and the person at the UMEP Physics stand seemed delighted that I'd be doing the summer school and potentially the UMEP program), but can anyone confirm? I know of a few people who've been on the Australian teams for maths and physics, who've simultaneously taken the respective 1st year subjects, but does anyone know whether this is definitely allowed?

Any responses would be GREATLY appreciated... I know that you can't be a regular university student, but I'd just like confirmation that UMEP's OK!

I met one Lucy Pfeifer, from Box Hill HS, (we were doing French distance ed together), who did an extension physics subject [not sure where] and went off to Kazakhstan (where, of course, Over9000 resides) and Singapore for physics comps during 2006.
Surely though, you can confirm this with a few clicks of the mouse?

I was going to email our program director, but I'm not sure if he's familiar with all of the different enhancement programs in the different states (seeing as he's based in NSW). I thought it'd all be OK, until someone commented on the UMEP thread on the Kwong Lee Dow portal...

Is that the guy from MHS?

Well, that definitely clears it all up :)

I thought the whole point of Olympiads was that students weren't allowed to have any official university training, which I figure should include UMEP and MUEP subjects.
