quantum, I actually studied pretty hard as well, SO getting a 61 is only more discouraging....
I feel your pain. May I ask what you are majoring in?
I said to myself that I would be happy with atleast 75% for physics, so I was happy with physics (although next year I am aiming for atleast 80% in physics), I was happy with finance 1, was expecting something between 70% - 80% and with engineering I was really surprised to see 60%, I was hoping for a pass at the most since I hated it.
As for linear algebra, I was aiming for a MINIMUM of 80% and after doing the practice exams that seemed too easy. Then when I sat the exam, I saw heaps of stuff I didn't study (e.g. The ellipse stuff - still confused with that). With barely any questions I could do to build up confidence, I just totally freaked out. I was lucky to have passed and need to use this as a lesson for future exams like this one so I can beat the exam instead of it beating me.
