We made it. Everything's in tact (now) (i hope). ENJOY! Post comments/criticisms(yes, there are many)/praise (please?) here.

EDIT: BY THE WAY.

CREDIT: Daniel15 for his awesome consultation in helping to integrate the site with SMF and work out certain bugs to do with the integration. His help was a godsend. :)

Brings a tear to my eye *sheds one then stops abruptly*

Happy that the site is getting fully set up. I won't make any critiques at the moment until I have time to see how things go (eg. server crashes etc). So far so good.

Only thing would be that one word in the welcome message. If first impressions count and you are targeting your site at a mainstream market then it would probably be wise to use language appropriate to teenagers.

I'm not sure, but I dont think having the huge welcome message on the first page is the first page to put it. Maybe you could have a shortened version ie a couple of lines and then have a ... and a link to a full About Us or Who we are or About VCENotes page.

and also...another thing...mentioning that "time and money were invested into this project and it is continually being updated, therefore, the site is funded by advertisements." is it really necessary... i mean the second part?

Overall, I kudos for the whole thing. I'm just being picky...lol

yeah i dont think explaining about the ads is necessary, everyone knows the web is based on ads:P

somehow the forums seem kinder laggier than before =/

agree with no need to mention explaining ads.
people are so used to them ur tiny ones aint doin much harm. i cant see it anyways :) adblock YAY
