Well I know UoM has many connections with Unis in the US (and other countries) such as the Stern School for Business at NYU.
Thus, I'm pretty sure it's a worldwide accepted degree.
Or, summarised:
Because UoM has connections overseas, the BCom is a worldwide accepted degree.
(this is in connexion with the established fact that AppleXY is a fanboy of the said university)
My point is, other degrees are just as accepted as UoM's. Yes, education will be an aspect when applying for a position here or abroad...but I'm am fairly certain that your performance during their selection process would mean just as much.
I know I wouldn't hire a UoM grad, if I was recruiting for a US firm, where the graduate could not communicate at all.
Another thing to consider is that the worth of your degree in getting you a job decreases as work experience increases.
