Yeah, just basic page layout/design. I can put text on a page but I can't make it look pretty, with respect to page design.

droodles should be able to help you out i think, haha.

well a good way to learn (this is what i did) was just pick out some pages from magazines you have, and try and copy the designs as close as you can in indesign (fill the text up with placeholder text, too)

by overcoming all the little problems you'll encounter by doing this, you get a pretty good idea of how everything works, and how certain effects are achieved. you have to experiment and mess around with lots of things, and work out the way to do things one by one (eg. placing text a certain way, making a title interesting...but not tacky)

and by all means, read the help file when you come across something you can't do. its just like photoshop...in that it's easy to use, but really difficult to use well :)
