Betrayal Rant

I hope this is the right place.

Ok I've known Kate since Yr 7 and consider her my best friend.
Sarah I've known for the last few years and we've only recently become close.
Sarah and Kate were formally quite close too.
Jesse(guy) is a jerk and deserves to die.

Read below to find out just how messed up my friendship group has become.

Rant:
Sarah is going out with Jesse.
Kate and Jesse have been attracted to each other for a long time but haven't done anything because Sarah and Kate are good friends.
Sarah and Jesse start having some relationship issues, breaking up then going out again etc.


During one such time Kate and Jesse sleep together.
Consequently they decided to go out and Sarah and Jesse properly break up.

A month or so later:
Sarah is still in love with Jesse and feels betrayed by Kate.
Sarah and Kate manage to remain friends but Sarah can't get over Jesse.
Kate and Jesse go out for a few months.
Kate confesses to me that the relationship is heading downwards and she's looking for a reason to dump Jesse.
Kate learns Jesse has been texting Sarah wanting to hook up.
Kate gets angry and is going to dump Jesse but believes Jesse when he say he wasn't serious.

Sarah confesses to me that she slept with Jesse a few weeks ago.
Sarah feels horrible about this but somewhat justified as she still feels that Kate betrayed her originally,
I'm talking to Kate. She again contemplates dumping Jesse.
I say I believe she should because I heard certain things that are definately dump worthy.

Kate demands to know what.
I don't say anything.
Kate flat out asks me if Jesse slept with Sarah.
I can't lie to Kate so I say nothing.
Kate takes this as yes.
I agree.
Kate decides to break up with Jesse.
Kate is super mad and feels betrayed by Sarah and Jesse.

I make Kate promise not to reveal what she knows so Sarah won't learn I told her secret.
Kate agrees.
I now feel terrible that I betrayed Sarah but Kate assures me it was the right thing to do.
I feel incredilbly guilty but Kate  says that she will act normally around Sarah.
Kate states that she now hates Sarah for betraying her and will subtly get revenge.
Kate texts me saying she might have to tell so she can justify breaking up with Jesse.

I plead with Kate not to mention it or instead accuse Jesse in the hope Jesse confesses.
I still feel horrible so I decided to admit I told to Sarah in the hope that she hears I told from me rather than someone else (ie incase Kate has to mention it when breaking up)
I confesses to Sarah that I told stating how sorry I am but I only told because it directly effected Kate's relationship.
Now Sarah accuses me of betraying her confidance.
Sarah is now pissed at me and says she can't forgive herself for sleeping with Jesse so how can Kate.

So Sarah was betrayed by Kate  and Jesse.
Kate was betrayed by Sarah and Jesse.
And Sarah was betrayed by me. 

It's the betrayal triangle from hell!   :uglystupid2:

To make matters worse Sarah is still in love with Jesse despite Jesse being a jerk and the fact they broke up months ago.
So I fear that Sarah will start going out with Jesse again further screwing up my friendship group.

I find the whole thing kind of ironic but I feel horrible I betrayed Sarah. Currently Kate is pissed at Sarah and Sarah is pissed at me.
Me, I'm kind of pissed at both of them but really hope Sarah can forgive me.

Any advice/similar stories?

person c= chad

because i think uv made some mistakes with the namin of ur people ... or the only other option is that a and b are girls, c is a boy and a and b are bisexual and love eachother sorta but both love this guy.

In all fairness, you're in an awkward situation and its the actions of the other people involved which are the problem, not your honesty to other friends. It would be differnt if one of the girls wasnt your friend but because they both are, ur silence cood have fucked u and Kate up and wood have been worse i rekon.

Things will get better dw. Oh and Jesse sounds like a real inconsiderate bastard

Jesse is a guy. Jesse is also my brother's name so it was the first guy name a thought of.
Now that I think of it people have sometimes thought my brother was a girl LOL.
Hope its clearer now.
