I mean, not to say that you're not grown up already. 8)

But I think this will be interesting - even to look back on in a couple of years. Sorry about the vague options; I'm sure some professions/career choices won't be adequately catered for, here. Luckily, you can choose up to five options!, so if you're unsure (like I), that's okay. :)

What are you thinking at present? ;D For me, a combination of education/academia/marketing/design probably covers it.

Are you me? Because I'm considering the exact same thing. ;D

Education, academia, and marketing are all on the table for me at the moment. I'm also interested in librarianship, but I think working in an art gallery would be pretty cool too (curatorship?). ::)

Really, I don't know but I know I have a lot of options available to me.

Filmmaker (not 100% sure what specifically under that very broad title - leaning towards scriptwriter or editor rn but that seems to change every day  :P). Also got the personal yearning to continue to study and teach history - lucky AN is a good outlet for that right now haha  8), but defs considering combining the two maybe one day - documentary film making/educational vids etc etc. :)

Well i'm about to satisfy what i've aspired to be for a long time (a high school teacher).. but looking forward 5-10 years I guess I'd love to see myself in a leadership position in a school, focusing on either student management or timetabling. That'd be nice. I can also see myself integrating my knowledge in IT & Education to start developing some educational products as a side gig. Who knows where i'll really end up.

P.S - I selected 'Other' as well, just because that description was way too hard to ignore :P

Sounds a lot like one of the old teachers at my school. He worked out all the online stuff - like setting up 'MySchols' (kinda like edmodo, but personalised for my school) and just generally integrated technology more effectively into teaching there. Ended up being so good that a higher, educational power (can't remember whether that was NESA or the HTA) ended up hiring him to develop these kinda resources on a mass scale. Meant that he had to leave my school, but was still pretty cool :) He has a blog where he talks about this kinda stuff if you're interested :)

I've never seen both you and me in the same room. Coincidence? 😂

Medicine (probably specialising in Neurology or Neuropsychiatry, with a focus on post-conflict states, conflicts zones and forced migration or neurological disorders) and journalism (investigative and photojournalism, probably through freelance rather than being employed with a specific publication, although I do love Aeon, The Economist, The Atlantic, Foreign Policy and New Scientist). Also a combination of social enterprise (possibly incorporating design thinking), education (I would love to do a two year bond with Teach For Australia) and academic research (cognitive psychology, anthropology, economics and philosophy) in an ideal world. I'm focusing on medicine and journalism at the moment though.

If you're the same person, you wouldn't realise you'd been in the same room, as you wouldn't be able to talk to each other or look at each other *ooooh*
