What happens if I do 3 maths?

 I heard that's bad for my atar or something, can anyone explain?

Just all three maths subjects cannot be within your top4 when calculating your ATAR. It isn't necessarily "bad" for your ATAR but you have less room for error in your other non-english subjects since you already know at least 1 of your 3 maths will be in your bottom 2.
