Approximately the same length of time Nick needs to brew tea for using his used teabags before it reaches any discernible flavour

tbh, I find making phone calls more stressful haha but that might be because I get anxious anytime someone calls me

With emails, I usually just add in a "Thanks! - NAME" at the end and boom, professionalism ;D

Very possibly.
I used loose leaf too. A tad bitter, but drinkable nonetheless :')

I'm with OG with the phonecalls, although professional sounding emails are hard for me, I always just want to add a smiley and I can't 😂

Haha calls are the worst as well! There's always that awkward silence and when I'm about to say something to get rid of the silence, the other person wants to say something as well and I'm like 'aksfhkjhwef'

I will never understand how to 'sign off' in emails- I had to look up 'What to include in an email signature' xD

Depends who you're talking to - if it's a chilled email, usually "cheers" or "thanks" and your name is good. If you want to step up, say "kind regards" then your name (this is usually my go to). If you need to be super formal, "yours sincerely".

For uni we have to start all our emails with "Dear _____" and sign off with "Yours sincerely" and your name and unit number. It feels weird at first so honestly I just made it my auto-signature so I didn't have to think about it, and really you worry about it less when you realise that whoever's reading your email probably isn't analysing how you've addressed them or signed off in your email haha

It's not once you learn the conventions and get familiar with them.
I happily write proffessional sounding emails but having to make phone calls really challenges me

I'm on the calls-are-evil side.
If I don't have you added as a contact and you call me, you won't get a call back. (I may have gotten a couple calls from unknown numbers sitting in my missed calls). Emails and texts, however, are less scary. I usually just end with -My name or Regards, name

Someone tried to call me 7 times on Thursday and I ignored them all because they weren’t my contact. I still don’t know who they are, I can’t think of anyone who has my number but I don’t have theirs unless they’re an organisation and i’d hope they wouldn’t call me 7 times in a row..

Very weird, the most I normally get from unknown numbers is 2 in a row.

Yeah same. I get calls from numbers I don't know but my phone tells me their area code, so a lot of them are from Tunisia. It scares the crap out of me when I'm on my laptop at like 10pm and suddenly my phone goes off :/

Any other unknown numbers that I haven't saved gets rejected ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
