I barely use phone calls since texting is just much more efficient.
Same! Texting is much better but my parents think otherwise :/

People schedule calls?? I didn't know that was a thing. My friends and I just call each other whenever and if we don't want to talk we just hang up or don't answer hahaha
My friends and I never call lol- only messaging on Snapchat or Instagram. The only time we call is if we can't find each other during recess/lunch or if we're on an excursion and one of us goes missing.

And then there's that one friend who never has credit or picks up her phone so if we lose her, we're screwed.

texting ... is so un-engaging tbh.

If someone's unhappy, you can tell. If someone is happy, you can also tell over the phone. You'll also laugh or cry with them =). You don't get that with text (at times).

(well that's just my opinion anyway )

does anyone actually call people without scheduling??? (outisde of close family, appointments etc)

Only when it's urgent.

Otherwise using messenger/texting generally provokes a faster response for me. :)

I call people I value or if there's something urgent.

With text, it just doesn't feel the same as calling at all .. also one can seenzone and drag things out.
...
Ever tried talking to someone about a problem and if they want to avoid it ...they do this
- response 30 min later
- Response 20 min later
 :P
Hmm the slow reponse rate is also the efficiency part of texting since they repsond when they are free and they don't have to put aside whatever they are doing.assuming they aren't playing those response time games ;) )

Yeah but depends on the relationship dynamic - it's fine if you both do it and have a implicit understanding but if its just oneway it should get very weird quickly. Also the scheduling isn't necessarily extensive e.g.  just going from texting to saying "I'm gonna call you"

*sticks head in*
Well. Calling is typically a lot better for, like family and close friends, and emergencies and making fish 'n' chip orders, but... Texting is definitely preferable for people who find it difficult to converse with, you know... words that come out of the hole in your face. You can think about what you want to write in texts and emails instead of just blurting something stupid out of said hole in face.
Thoughts are only thoughts.
They are not you. You do belong to yourself,
even when your thoughts don't.

Shoutout to Metro for once again screwing me over when I'm starved and caught the earlier train in to get food before class and I'm still going to be late :-*

Their eyebrows do themselves.

BUT HE WAS AN EDM GOD?!?
I think that's the first time in years I've felt that cold sense of shock.
He was only 28. They're not releasing the cause of death. What happened?
Rest easy, mate.
Geez.

he stopped performing a few years ago due to health issues. IIRC that was a result of overworking and excess consumption of alcohol. Although cause of death not too sure.

Really shouldn't have stayed up early in the morning, heard it when it was breaking news :'(

Listening to songs by artists that have died is difficult.
