Neighbors across the way are partying obnoxiously. (Probs because it’s beer day lol, thanks S200.)
For the second time this week. Last time is was on Sunday. I mean, who parties that hard on a Sunday?

They won’t stop until at least 2AM from personal experience. Which means I will have no rest until about 2:30.

Currently debating whether I should sneak over there and pull the electrical fuse again...

Update @11:10: got my own music now, how do you blokes like some Gypsy and the Cat??!?

Update @1:30: I hate this man

Update @next morning: I hope he's seriously hungover.

AGAIN!?!?!?!?!? You HEATHEN!!! Nobody kills a party like that!!

Best way is just to ask yourself over, to see what is so important that it keeps them up till 2...

p.s. I LOVE Sunday Parties!!!

I know the pain of these parties :(
One of my other neighbours just rings whoever handles noise complaints to make a noise complaint, which occasionally helps aha :')

Hopefully they quieten down soon enough!!! ^_^

Urgh these are painful. It gets worse when they are drunk and try to sing. While playing the ukulele. At 1:30am.

Since mine lived next door and we could actually SEE them, the best method I have discovered is when they have a song that they are not singing to, purposefully murder it in the flattest and most mournful tone possible, loud enough so they can plainly hear. Oh, and pretend to be a really distorted electric guitar.

Seems to work.

Does anyone know what happened to vce discussionspace? (all though I'm not too upset - as long as atar notes is around who needs some facebook group anyway  ;) )

Does anyone here have any ideas on how to soothe a stiff neck in less than 24 hours? My neck is stiff from today's exam and I have another one tomorrow so I'm expecting more cramping in the neck region...

Heat pack or hot water bottle. Gently massage the affected area. Sleep on a gentle, supportive surface. You'll be g, girl!

edit: with E6P's post:
Make sure it's a gentle and slow rolling. Keep your shoulders level and flat, and turn your chin towards your collarbone on one side, then the other. This stretches the muscles at the sides of the neck, the sterno-something with a stupidly long name. :)

Try doing neck exercises to loosen it up :). Stiff necks come from holding a position for too long

Stretch to the left, Stretch to the right, up, down.

Hold each position for 20 - 30s, repeat 4- 5 times

I second the heat pack idea! Alternatively, a warm shower or bath usually helps me when I get the case of the stiff neck! ;D

It may sound weird, but when I have a sore neck (often) I sleep on the ground, the surface is not bending to your body, and this stretches the neck. I know this doesn't work for everyone, but might be an idea to consider. Also, focus on something you hate (like English) and the pain pales into insignificance. :P

Feel better. :)

I have finally achieved the greatest accomplishment of my adult life so far...

I have taught my baby nephew how to high five. I'll put my hand in front of him, click my fingers, then he'll start slapping my hand with the biggest 'YEAH LOOK AT HOW GOOD I AM' smile on his face

I was typing up an assignment in mathematica, when suddenly mathematica closed and I lost all of my progress :(  I have no understanding of why this happened (I'm new to mathematica and wouldn't be overly surprised if I accidentally activated a close window shortcut). Sucks because it had taken me a long time to make that progress, but at least I'm slightly more proficient and practiced at it now.
